“Time flies,” Apple says in its latest marketing event today to announce the new Apple Watch and iPad.

Time certainly does fly. The company launched the first iPhone 13 years ago, blending the idea of a cell phone, web browser and music player into one touchscreen device. The latest iPhone is expected to be announced next month.

Oklahomans were excited about the new technology in June 2007, with many lining up overnight so they could be first to purchase the iPhone.

You can watch the event here. In the meantime, take a look back at how Oklahomans reacted to the first iPhone.
