Forza Horizon 3 crosses 10 million players on Xbox One and PC – Windows Central

The past few months have been quite eventful for Playground Games. Not only did Xbox’s Phil Spencer announce that the team was joining Microsoft Studios, but the reveal of the new Forza Horizon 4 blew gamers away. However, the good news doesn’t end there.

During an interview with Team VVV on September 13, 2018, Playground Games’ Creative Director Ralph Fulton said that Forza Horizon 3 had surpassed ten million players. This is an amazing figure considering that Forza Horizon 3 is a racing game. Keep in mind that this is a player count and shouldn’t be equated to sales figures.

The title has garnered a lot of positive press lately, and the fact that it accumulated phenomenal review scores — it sits at a 91 on Metacritic — grew its appeal. Hopefully Forza Horizon 4 will continue that studio’s streak.

Forza Horizon 4 should launch on October 2. If you purchase the Ultimate Edition, you can play it on September 28.
